Greek Dairies S.A. (Olympus) is one of the largest dairy producers in Greece. The company was formed by the merger of three large companies: Rodopi, Tyras and Olympos. The company has operations in Greece, Bulgaria and Romania and exports products to 42 countries. It has over 1000 employees, and its revenues exceed 300 million euros.

Olympus needed better organization of procedures and effective control of operations

Due to the accelerated growth, the company needed a solution that would support first of all the activities of sales, marketing and relations with customers and that help to a better organization of procedures and a more effective control of operations in Greece, Romania and Bulgaria.

The control and centralization of data from the activity of sales agents was a given the fact that previously Word or Excel files were used for this purpose. Generating and obtaining reports was difficult and extremely time consuming. At the same time, multiple errors were observed in the communication between the sales agents and the headquarters. The omissions that occurred when transmitting the collected data, but also the fact that all operations of the sales department were carried out with the help of Word and Excel applications, did not allow the achievement of long-term objectives. The company was faced with the challenge of finding an innovative and reliable solution that differed from those it had tried unsuccessfully in the past.

The solution came through Entersoft CRM and Entersoft Mobile SFA

Before choosing Entersoft solutions, Greek Dairies S.A. evaluated five offers from local and international suppliers, and in the selection process, the solid portfolio of clients, significant experience and stability, were the criteria that made the difference.

Greek Dairies S.A. chose the CRM back-office solution integrated with the Mobile SFA solution. A major advantage in choosing Entersoft was the company's presence in Romania and Bulgaria, a fact that facilitated the implementation of the selected solutions in Greek Dairies branches in these countries. The project to implement the Entersoft CRM and Entersoft Mobile SFA solutions included 40 mobile users and 10 from the back-office in Greece and it took two months. Outside Greece, the project was extended in Romania (Entersoft Mobile CRM / SFA) and in Bulgaria.

Entersoft CRM & Sales Force Automation (SFA) solutions were selected to automate activities in supermarkets, wholesale distribution and retail sales, coordinating operations such as order taking, merchandising, audits, promotions, inventory management, conducting surveys, monitoring prices. The solutions were also used to facilitate back-office sales processes such as planning point of sale visits, granting approvals, centralizing customer satisfaction data and analyzing the competition.

Both Management and Sales staff had positive reactions and readily adopted the new solutions, immediately noticing an improvement in business. Product registration and low shelf reporting procedures can now be run in real time without errors. All data is measurable, from the time required for each sales employee to perform a task to the operations that take place at each point of sale (competition price marking, photos, shelf measurements, etc.).

At the same time, employees can have real-time access to statistics based on reliable information, while managers have a clear picture of the performance of sales teams and of each individual agent. Finally, thanks to the use of correct data, the decisions taken within the company are faster and more accurate.
