Grape and wine producers can continue to benefit from the measures of the National Support Program in the wine sector 2019-2023. The aim of the program is to increase the competitiveness of wine producers, the economic performance of enterprises, as well as to improve the winemaking technologies through which superior quality wines are obtained.

We start from monitoring farms and vineyards, planning and carrying out activities taking into account the phenological evolution, weather forecast, previously applied treatments but also the location of the vineyard, soil and grape variety and wine style to be followed by the oenologist. . All the processes that take place in the winery are controlled: from the reception of the grapes to the obtaining of the conditioned wine, the planning and follow-up of its bottling, finalizing with the management of the different sales channels.

 

Eligible beneficiaries are SMEs, micro-enterprises and enterprises with less than 750 employees or a turnover of less than EUR 200 million, which carry out the economic activity of production, services or trade in the wine sector. Exceptions are wine grape producers who sell all their own grape production, distilleries, grocery stores, supermarkets, hypermarkets and restaurants, which cannot benefit from the investment measure.

 

Amount of grant:

  • 70% of the value of eligible expenses for micro-enterprises & SMEs
  • 25% of the value of eligible expenses for other enterprises

 

The projects can be submitted until July 31, 2023, on the first come, first served model, and the financial allocation is 45,844,000 Euros.
