The Local Public Administration of Forests "Kronstadt" manages the forestry fund of Brasov City
(14.600 acres), the fourth largest fund in Romania, ensures the processing of exploited wood and capitalization of approved harvesting timber (nearly 52,000 cubic meters per year). The „Kronstadt” Administration also builds, maintains and repairs roads and forestry routes.

The Local Public Administration of Forests "Kronstadt" has chosen SocrateERP, in order to efficiently manage each forest district. The districts are registered as profit centers, the data are entered by rangers in SocrateERP, centralised and the stocks are automatically uploaded.

The field work of employees is now monitored in real time, the Administration management having a clear picture of the profitability on each area. Significant benefits were also achieved on the reporting area, where the time to obtain regular reports on profit centers, expenses, revenues or inventories decreased from one week to less than one hour.
